OhMilord Studios is a christian-owned design agency for the music, media and entertainment industries. We offer our clients a variety of services designing websites, media graphics, logos, album covers and more.
Position Overview
We are currently a small team looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a Graphic Design Intern for a non-paid internship. Applicants must have an interest in graphic or web design. In this role, you will help an experienced designer develop and execute projects in each of their different phases. This is a great opportunity for a talented student to gain professional experience, especially if you are able to take constructive criticism. In return, you will gain experience in building websites and creating graphics.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Graphic Design intern will report to the CEO/Lead Designer directly and work with the Executive Assistant to execute projects efficiently. The Graphic Design intern will also:- Conduct client research
- Help develop and execute design concepts
- Support the designer in creating clear and engaging graphic communications for print and web
- Pick layouts
- Draft Mockups
- Fill out content
- Assist with administrative tasks as necessary
- Taking notes on client meetings
Requirements & Qualifications
We are interested in candidates who are 16 years old or college students looking for school credit and experience. Applicants must be eager to learn and have a focus and/or interest in a graphic design career. The intern is expected to:- Have an eye for design
- Be available 15 hours per week
- Have a desire to learn
- Have collaboration skills
- Have professional and proven communication skills to interact with clients
- Respect the company culture
- Must be available between the hours of 12pm and 5pm from Monday to Friday
Skill Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of industry standard design software (Photoshop, Canva, etc) and a desire to learn
